HR-ROI offers support in the daily activity of supervising employees. HR-ROI can help you to hire, administer, motivate and terminate employees, while meeting your obligations ethically, morally and legally.


Customized programs could include:

 

  • Harassment hotline - Under state and federal law, harassment occurs when an employee works in a "hostile environment". By providing a means for any employee to voice personal concern, you meet their need to express concern about their workplace, and you limit your liability for possibly creating an unintentional "hostile environment". We will provide a 24/7 hotline that employees can call to voice their concerns, and we will alert management of potentially serious situations.
  • Harassment Investigation – Once an employer becomes aware of possible harassment, both the courts and good management practice expect the management to investigate and resolve the situation in a timely manner. We will work with you quickly to conduct a full and unbiased investigation, including recommended actions and documenting the complete situation.
  • Interview training - We can give your supervisors and managers the tools they need to conduct more effective employment interviews. Our training will build supervisory skills while reducing your exposure to litigation stemming from inappropriate or illegal interview practices. We can design a customized interview training program based on your hiring criteria and job openings as part of interview training.
  • Performance appraisal - It sounds simple. Write objectives for the coming year, review progress and then plan for the next period. Yet, an employee performance appraisal can be a minefield of employee morale and legal issues.
    We work with you to design a simple and effective approach to performance appraisal tailored to your needs. We then help to implement an approach that will encourage both employees and supervisors to improve their contributions.
  • Problem employee resolution - We will work closely with you to solve problem employee issues and to minimize your legal exposure. We will ensure that your involved management team is advised on the correct legal actions and best practices for resolving these difficult employee situations. Once a plan is established, we work closely with those managers and guide them to achieving resolution.
  • HR policy manual - We can prepare a written and understandable document for you to insure consistency in policy application and interpretation. We can not only write the policies for your organization, but also present them to your supervisory team in a supportive and user-friendly manner.
  • Coaching - We will meet with your managers on a scheduled basis to review issues and situations that arise in the workplace. We will work with them to develop good leadership practices for real-world situations encountered by your supervisors.
